HOW IT WORKS: Ark T is raising some much needed funds to pay for a dance studio refurb – the floor is old and has seen so many feet across it now dancers deserve a bit more – and it’s not that warm either so the heaters need an upgrade too. If this sounds dull it isn’t – Ark T supports community dance in all ways and especially through the partnership with Oxford Youth Dance, led by Ark T artist in residence Cecilia MacFarlane. Everyone can dance is her ethos, and as an inclusive creative charity, we believe everyone deserves the chance to participate and we understand what is needed to make that happen. So paying for the floor is actually making it possible for us to keep helping those in need to be part of Ark T, benefit from our creativity and be part of something special in the community. There’s nothing like us in Cowley!
One hour of dance costs £5 on the door, for more time, donate more – so Papa Nui is a tenner suggested donation OR click to donate here if you can’t get along to the event but want to support
We are grateful to all the musicians helping with this event, to Euton Daley and Claire Thompson and Dancin’ Oxford.
