The first week of August at Ark-T saw a new way for teenagers to spend time during summer holidays. Self-Care retreats can often seem illusive and indulgent, so we brought them right back down to earth by running our very own summer self-care retreat for teenagers.
We spent an inspiring week taking part in activities, each focusing on a different element of self-care. We began with a ‘chill skills workshop’ run by Relax Kids, learned about changing materials and emotions with Science Oxford, made Sound Portraits with Charlie Henry, visited Modern Art Oxford, enjoyed spending time together, made slime, cooked and of course had fun.

The next self-care retreat will take place on the 23rd of October from 10am-4pm. We will be doing yoga, making powerballs and more.
