Pitt Rivers Museum Visit
The Young ROARsome Collective made their first trip to Pitt Rivers Museum 24 November. The group met a museum staff member, Katherine Rose, for a sketchbook introduction activity. She gave a brief introduction about Pitt Rivers Museum and descriptions to the many objects to handle.
The sketchbook introduction activity is to encourage everyone to start document their creativity in their own personal sketchbooks. The objects included well-crafted paddles from a native tribe located in the British Columbia Haida Gwaii, Canada and many more from different cultures.
The second part of our visit involved Katherine Rose presented a sketchbook with beautiful drawings, paintings, and collages of the different objects around the museum. The Young ROARsome Collective enjoyed interacting with the objects and viewing a high quality sketchbook.
