The Young Women's Music Project was founded by Kate Garrett 10 years ago.
The project takes place at the Ark T centre, Cowley, Oxford. The aim Suzie Grange of the project is to provide a safe and encouraging environment for young women to develop musical skills - jam sessions will be the first and third Friday of every month from 5pm till 7pm, all jam sessions are free.

Suzie GrangeOur workshops will be every 3 months, guests will run the workshops, all aspects of the music industry will be covered: audio engineering, tour managing, management, musicians union, PR, record labels, mastering etc

We have previously produced 3 compilations of music, the launch gigs were at the 02 academy Oxford, and a documentary was produced for us back in 2006.
