1.1. Ark-T Centre is a Registered Charity in the United Kingdom (Charity number: 1079495). These Terms and Conditions govern each donation made through the Ark-T Centre website (www.ark-t.org).

1.2. Donations to Ark-T Centre are processed through Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) via their website. Please read through the whole of CAF’s Website Donations Terms of Service prior to making a donation.

2. How we use your donation

2.1. We will use your donation to conduct our charitable objectives outlined in our Mission, Vision and Values on our website.
2.2. All donations made to Ark-T Centre via our website are processed through Registered Charity, Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), who will pass on your donation to Ark-T Centre in accordance with your wishes.

2.3. By confirming your donation to Ark-T Centre, you authorise CAF to request funds from your credit card, debit card or CAF account.

3. Unauthorised card use

3.1. If you become aware of fraudulent activity on your card or account, or if your payment details are lost or stolen you must notify your card provider immediately.

4. Your personal information

4.1. When making a donation via the Ark-T Centre website, you will be diverted to the CAF website and your name, address and email address are required to process the transaction.

4.2. Details of your credit or debit card that you wish to use to fund the donation must be provided to CAF, which will be used to process your donation. It is your responsibility to provide CAF with the correct information.

4.3. When you submit your payment and personal details to CAF, these details will be collected and processed securely by them, in accordance with your wishes. Please make sure you have read CAF’s Website Donations Terms of Service, which are different to our own, to ensure that you are comfortable with how they will process your personal data when making a donation to Ark-T Centre.

4.4. Ark-T Centre will not share your personal information with any third party. In the instance of Ark-T Centre holding safeguarding concerns about your donation or information provided whilst making a donation via the Ark-T Centre website, Ark-T Centre reserves the right to take action and contact third parties. Please read our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy and our Safeguarding Adults at Risk Policy for more information.

4.5. Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Website Donations Terms and Conditions and by agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you are also agreeing to the way Ark-T Centre and Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) use and protect your personal information.

5. Regular Donations

5.1. In line with your wishes outlined when making a donation via the Ark-T Centre website, these Terms and Conditions will apply to successive donations where you have set up a monthly, quarterly, half yearly or yearly donation.

5.2. When you set up a regular donation, you will acknowledge that a series of donations will be scheduled on the date of your choosing, until further notice. You agree that these Terms and Conditions will apply to each of those scheduled donations.

5.3. By proceeding to set up a regular donation, you authorise CAF to request funds from your credit or debit card on the day of the month that you have set. To cancel your regular donation, please contact [email protected]

6.1. We reserve the right to make improvements or changes to the information and services on our website, or terminate our website, at any time without prior notice. We may also modify these terms and conditions and our privacy policy at any time without prior notice, and every such modification will be effective immediately upon posting of the modified terms and conditions and/or the modified privacy policy on our website. Your continued use of our website is deemed to be your acceptance of the modified terms of use and/or the modified privacy policy. You should, therefore, review this page regularly to ensure that you are aware of all improvements, changes and modifications made.
