Exhibition ‘HIDDEN GEMS’ Neurodiversecity of Oxford

17th of June 2026

FREE

WE ARE THE SAME, BUT DIFFERENT!

What is Neurodiversity?

Every brain is unique. We all think, learn and experience the world in different ways. some people are neurodivergent, meaning their brains work differently from what is considered typical.

Neurodivergent people bring incredible creativity, talents and perspectives. They may also face barriers because society and education have not always been designed to recognise or support different ways of thinking and learning.

Many of the young artists who attend our groups at Ark-T are neurodivergent. They enjoy coming here because they are accepted, understood and celebrated for who they are.

We use creativity in all its forms to help young people express themselves through art, play, conversation, music and lots of fun.

We hope you enjoy our exhibition.
