Ark-T projects are open to all and are free of cost to attend. We run a mixture of group sessions.

Ark-T delivers programmes designed in response to community need. We work closely with residents, schools and partners to understand local challenges and co-create creative responses that support mental health and wellbeing. Demand for our programmes continues to grow and most are oversubscribed.
The Art Nest
The Art Nest is a therapeutic creative programme delivered at Orchard Meadow Primary School in Blackbird Leys. Children aged 5–11 referred by the school for additional needs, including trauma, attend small weekly sessions. The trauma-informed programme uses creativity, storytelling and art-making to help children process emotions, rebuild confidence and reengage with school life. Sessions operate with a 1:3 staff-to-pupil ratio, and Ark-T fundraises for the programme entirely so the school and families do not pay
HerSpace Junior
HerSpace Junior provides weekly two-hour creative wellbeing sessions for girls aged 6–11. Led by specialist practitioners, the programme supports confidence and friendships through creative activities. Sessions are cocreated with participants, with themes chosen collaboratively; past themes have included human rights and the rights of the child. Each term concludes with an exhibition of the young people’s work.
HerSpace Senior
HerSpace Senior offers weekly two-hour creative wellbeing sessions for teenage girls experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem or other challenges. Led by specialist practitioners, the sessions encourage self-expression, confidence and peer support through creative discussion and art-making. Each term concludes with an exhibition of the young people’s work.
MySpace (Online)
MySpace is an online creative programme for young people unable to attend school, particularly those experiencing emotionally based school avoidance. Launched in 2025, participants receive creative materials by post and join guided online sessions supporting wellbeing and connection. Ark-T identified this need early, before it became widely recognised as a national challenge. Early outcomes are promising, with some participants leaving home to attend organised educational activities for the first time after engaging with the programme.
