No need to book. Just turn up!
This exhibition celebrates the creativity of three inspiring members of the Ark-T community — Kerry, George, and Brendan — who have organised and designed this exhibition themselves. Their work reflects both the time spent in Ark-T’s Welcome Space, exploring creative wellbeing activities, and the art they continue to develop outside of it.

Each artwork on display tells a story of curiosity, imagination, and personal growth. Together, they remind us that creativity is something we carry with us, shaping how we see, feel, and connect with the world.

The artists you see here bring imagination, curiosity, and compassion to everything they do — enriching our community with their creativity and spirit.

Through weaving, drawing, painting and poetry, Kerry, George, and Brendan show us what happens when creativity and community come together — a celebration of imagination, exploration, and belonging.

Feel free to pop into our Welcome Space anytime between 10-3 Monday to Thursday

KerryI love to do creative stuff because it’s a way for me to express myself. I’ve really enjoyed coming to Ark-T because I’ve learnt how to weave and I’ve learnt about other things too such as doing Geli Printing and making friendship bracelets. Coming here is a way for me to get really messy but I don’t have to worry about cleaning up. I also feel safe at Ark-T and all the staff are very kind and helpful. I’ve only been coming this year. I’ve always made my own cards, drawings and paintings but now I do weaving as well. I’ve written some stories too. I get my ideas from my imagination and exploring things around me and from films and television series that I’ve seen and from books and audiobooks that I’ve read or listened to. Being creative is one of my ways to destress.”

George “After working for a publisher for many years I retired to bedlam. I started writing poetry again and discovered the short form Haiku. I found Ark-T by chance and started some painting.”
(Haiku: is a short Japanese poem of three lines (5‑7‑5 syllables) that captures a moment, feeling, or observation).
