Ark-T is growing its pool of inspiring freelance artists to form the Ark-T Collective – a network of creatives who bring bold, inclusive, and engaging workshops into the heart of our community. From our Welcome Space and one-off workshops for after-school groups to community lunches, exhibitions, and festivals, we reach people where they are with creativity that connects, uplifts, and heals.
We’re looking for forward-thinking artists with a creative practice that explores community, and a genuine interest in using their work to support wellbeing, mental health, and social connection. - Bring your unique practice and perspective to inspire, empower, and connect participants
- Work flexibly throughout the year, including school holidays and community events

- Experience with SEND participants is highly desirable
- A collaborative, inclusive and forward-thinking approach to creative practice

Optional Artist Development Opportunity:
As a member of the Ark-T Collective, you’ll be invited to take part in optional monthly Creative Practice support sessions hosted at Ark-T. These unpaid sessions offer a relaxed, in-person space for artists to come together, share ideas, and bring something from their practice to discuss with the wider group. It’s a chance to build community, reflect, and grow alongside fellow creatives who care about community arts.
